Case Study: The John Lyon School

The John Lyon School (JLS) is a boys’ day school in Harrow, Middlesex, and is part of the Harrow School Foundation. Edge Media works closely with the School on a daily basis to deliver a full package of marketing services, ranging from the design of newspaper and magazine advertisements to the filming and editing of the Headmaster’s Open Day talk for video upload on the School website.

We produce an eight-page newsletter and mini-prospectus each term, together with an annual newsletter about the School’s partnership with a nearby girls’ school, Northwood College. Our extensive programme of website content support includes editing and uploading StandardExtra, a fortnightly online bulletin. We planned and project-managed the production of the School’s prospectus pack and have also undertaken consultancy work aimed at improving the School’s internally produced annual magazine. Our media relations support for JLS involves liaising with the local media and issuing targeted press releases. We also provide content support for the Old Lyonian Association website.
